PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2019 Zozo Championship

The 2019 Zozo Championship golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from October 24-27, 2019, at the Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club located in the Tokyo suburb of Inzai, Japan. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs this week for the PGA golfers at the 2019 Zozo Championship.



The Zozo Championship is a brand new tournament on the PGA Tour with a very high prize money payout. The event is the first PGA Tour sanctioned event in Japan and will run through at least 2025.

The field for the 2019 Zozo Championship will consist of 78 players with no cut. The field consists of the top 60 players from the 2019 FedEx Cup Standings, along with the current top seven money players on the Japan Golf Tour. the top three players from the Bridgestone Open and eight sponsor exemptions.

The field is excellent for this event and includes all the top players like Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2019 Zozo Championship is $9.75 million. That's the highest prize money in golf outside of the majors and WGC events and Players Championship.

  • Winner - $1.755 million

The winner of the 2019 Zozo Championship will earn $1.755 million. That's the biggest prize money for 1st place on the PGA Tour for 2020 season outside of the majors, players championship and WGC events.


  • Second place - $1.053 million


  • Third place - $663,000


  • Fourth place - $468,000


  • Fifth place - $390,000
