European Tour Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2019 Scottish Open

The 2019 Scottish Open golf tournament on the European Tour is taking place this week from July 11-14, 2019, at the Renaissance Club located in North Berwick, Scotland. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the European Tour players to win this week at the 2019 Scottish Open.

The Scottish Open dates all the way back to 1935, though, the event was not played from 1937 to 1971. Ian Woosnam hold the record for most wins with three, followed by Ernie Els with two wins. In recent times Americans Phil Mickelson (2013) and Rickie Fowler (2015) have won the Scottish Open sandwiched between a win by England's Justin Rose in 2014. Alex Noren won this event in 2016, Rafa Cabrera-Bello in 2017 and Brandon Stone is the defeding champion.

Rickie Fowler, who won on this course in 2015, is returning to play here this year. Americans also playing include Justin Thomas, Matt Kuchar, Kevin Kisner, Andrew Putnam, Kurt Kitayama, Julian Suri and Sean Crocker.

The total prize money up for grabs at the 2019 Scottish Open is $7 million making this one of the highest prize money events on European Tour in 2019. All prize money below for the 2019 Scottish Open golf tournament is in American dollars.

The winner of the 2019 Scottish Open will earn $1.17 million. The winner of this European Tour event last year was Brandon Stone.

  • Second place - $777,000

  • Third place - $441,000

  • Fourth place - $350,000
