Tennis Prize Money Up for Grabs for Doubles Players 2019 Wimbledon Grand Slam Tournament

The 2019 Wimbledon Grand Slam tennis tournament for men and women doubles players on the ATP and WTA circuits is taking place this month this month from July 1-14, 2019, on the grass courts at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club located in London, England. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the men and women doubles players at 2019 Wimbledon.



The 2019 Wimbledon tennis tournament is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments held annually. Total prize money up for grabs at 2019 Wimbledon is $48.2 million. Men and women doubles players are paid the same amounts of prize money at Wimbledon in 2019. 

All prize money below is in American dollars converted from Pounds. The prize money is not cumulative, players only earn the amounts shown for the last round they advance to. The amounts listed are per team, to get the per player amounts just divide by two as noted below.

In parenthesis after each round is the percentage increase in the prize money over last year. Below the doubles prize money is the mixed doubles prize money. Both doubles and mixed doubles have received significant increases in prize money as noted below.



Prize Money Up for Grabs for Doubles Players at 2019 Wimbledon


  • Winners - $684,782 (up 20% from 2018) 

The men's and women's winners of the 2019 Wimbledon tennis tournament in doubles play will each earn $684,782 per team or $342,391 per player in prize money. 


  • Runners-up - $342,391 (up 20%)  works out to $171,196 per player


  • Semifinalists - $171,195 (up 20.5%) works out to $85,598 per player


  • Quarter-finalists - $84,964 (up 19.6%) works out to $42,482 per player


  • Third Round - $40,580 (up 10.3%) works out to $20,290 per player


  • Second Round - $24,094 (up 7%) works out to $12,047 per player


  • First Round - $15,217 (up 9.1%) works out to $7,609 per player




Wimbledon 2019 Mixed Doubles Prize Money Payouts


  • Winners - $147,101 (up 5.5% from 2018) works out to $73,551 per player


  • Runners-up - $73,551 (up 5.5%) works out to $36,776 per player


  • Semifinalists - $36,776 (up 5.5%) works out to $18,388 per player


  • Quarter-finalists - $18,388 (up 16.2%) works out to $9,194 per player


  • Third Round - $8,877 (up 7.7%) works out to $4,439 per player


  • Second Round - $4,439 (up 7.7%) works out to $2,219 per player


  • First Round - $2,219 (up 7.7%) works out to $1,110
