PGA Senior Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2019 U.S. Senior Open

The 2019 U.S. Senior Open golf tournament on the PGA Tour Champions is taking place this week from June 27-30, 2019, on the Warren Golf Course at the at the University of Notre Dame located in South Bend, Indiana. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the senior PGA golfers to win this week at the 2019 U.S. Senior Open.



The U.S. Senior Open dates back to 1980. It is one of the five major championships on the PGA Tour Champions season. Miller Barber holds the record for most wins with three, followed by Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Hale Irwin, Allen Doyle and Kenny Perry with two wins each. David Toms is defending champion.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2019 Senior U.S. Open is $4 million. That's the same amount of prize money that was up for grabs here last year. It's also easily the biggest prize money event on the 2019 Senior Tour.

  • Winner - $720,000

The winner of the 2019 Senior U.S. Open golf major tournament will earn $720,000. That's the same amount of prize money that David Toms earned when he won this senior golf major tournament last year.


  • Second place - $435,000


  • Third place - $275,000


  • Fourth place - $195,000
