PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2019 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play

The 2019 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from March 28-31, 2019, at the Austin Country Club located in Austin, Texas. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the PGA golfers playing in the 2019 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.


The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play dates back to 1999. Tiger Woods holds the record for most wins in the event with three (2003, 2004, 2008). Jason Day and Geoff Ogilvy are tied for second with two wins each. Dustin Johnson won this event in 2017 and Bubba Watson is defending champion. Tiger Woods is eligible to play in this event in 2019. 

Total prize money up for grabs at the 201 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play is $10.25 million. That's up 2.6% over the $10 million in prize money that was up for grabs in this tournament last year. The first four finishers including the winner get paid separate amounts but after that groups of finishers are paid the same amounts as shown below.

  • Winner - $1.745 million

The winner of the 2018 WGC-Dell Match Play will earn a cool $1.745 million in prize money. That's up 2.5% over the $1.7 million in prize money that Bubba Watson earned last year when he won this tournament.

  • Second place - $1.098 million


  • Third place - $712,000


  • Fourth place - $572,000


  • 5th place thru 8th - $314,000


  • 9th place thru 16th - $167,000


  • 17th place thru 29th - $98,000


  • 30th place thru 38th - $78,000


  • 39th place thru 50th - $71,000


  • 51st place thru 57th - $56,000
