PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2019 Honda Classic

The 2019 Honda Classic golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from February 28 to March 3, 2019, on the Champion Course at the PGA National Golf Club located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the PGA golfers to win at the 2019 Honda Classic.



The Honda Classic dates back to 1972. Jack Nicklaus, Johnny Miller, Mark Calcavecchia and Padraig Harrington jointly hold the record for most wins with two each. Justin Thomas is the defending champion and Rickie Fowler won this event in 2017 and Rory McIlroy was the winner in 2012. 

Tiger Woods has never won the Honda Classic but he was 2nd here in 2012. Tiger is not scheduled to play this event in 2019.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2019 Honda Classic is $6.8 million. That's up 3% over the $6.6 million that was up for grabs in this tournament last year.

  • Winner - $1.224 million

The winner of the 2019 Honda Classic will earn a cool $1.224 million in prize money. That's up 3% over the $1.188 million in prize money that Justin Thomas earned last year when he won this tournament.

  • Third place - $462,400


  • Fourth place - $326,400


  • Fifth place - $272,000


  • Sixth Place - $244,800


  • Seventh Place - $227,800
