PGA Senior Golf 2018 Charles Schwab Cup Playoff Prize Money Up for Grabs

The 2018 Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs on the PGA Tour Champions will begin on Friday, October 19, 2018. Here is a list of the bonus prize money that is up for grabs for the senior PGA players to earn in the 2018 Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs.

The playoffs consist of three separate tournaments starting on October 19, 2018. The tournaments are the Dominion Charity Classic (October 19-21 on the James River Course at the Richmond Country Club), PowerShares QQQ Championship (October 26-28 at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California) and the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship (November 9-11 at the Phoenix Country Club).

Only the top 75 players for the 2018 PGA Tour Champions season are eligible to play in the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs. Only the top 54 players can play in the second round and then only the top 36 players advance to the season ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship. The top 5 players then earn bonus prize money.

A total of $2.1 million in bonus prize pool money is up for grabs in the 2018 Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs independent of the prize money for each of the three playoff tournaments. The top five players after the three playoff events are played will each earn a prize money bonus as shown below for each spot.

Since the playoffs began in 2001, Bernhard Langer holds the record for most Charles Schwab Cup titles with four. Langer is tied with Colin Montgomerie, who has yet to win the Charles Schwab Cup, for most 2nd place finishes with three each.
