PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2018 Memorial Tournament

The 2018 Memorial Tournament golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from  May 31 to June 3, 2018, at the Muirfield Village Golf Club located in Dublin, Ohio. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the PGA golfers at the 2018 Memorial Tournament.



The Memorial Tournament was founded as an invitational golf event by Jack Nicklaus in 1976. As an invitational tournament the field this week is limited to just 120 players with a 2nd round cut line to 70 players plus ties.

Tiger Woods holds the record for most wins with five. Kenny Perry has the 2nd most wins with three. Jack Nicklaus is tied for the 3rd most wins along with Hale Irwin, Greg Norman and Tom Watson at two wins each.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2018 Memorial Tournament is $8.9 million. That's up 2.3% over the $8.7 million in prize money that was up for grabs in this PGA golf tournament last year. The Memorial offers one of the highest prize money purses for any non-major or non-WGC PGA Tour event in 2018.

  • Winner - $1.602 million


The winner of the 2018 Memorial Tournament will earn a cool $1.602 million. That's up 2.3% over the $1.566 million in prize money that Jason Dufner earned when he won this tournament last year.

  • Third place - $605,200


  • Fourth place - $427,200


  • Fifth place - $356,000


  • Sixth Place - $320,400


  • Seventh Place - $298,150


  • Eighth Place -$275,900
