PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2018 Fort Worth Invitational

The 2018 Fort Worth Invitational golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from May 24-27, 2018, at the Colonial Country Club located in Fort Worth, Texas. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the PGA golfers at the 2018 Fort Worth Invitational.



The Fort Worth Invitational dates back to 1946. As an invitational tournament the field this week is limited to just 120 players with a 2nd round cut line to 70 players plus ties.

Ben Hogan holds the record for most wins with five. Notable players tied for second with two wins each include Phil Mickelson, Julius Boros, Billy Casper, Lee Trevino and Zach Johnson. Other notable winners are Jack Nicklaus (1982), Tom Watson (1998), Sergio Garcia (2001) and Jordan Spieth (2016). Tiger Woods has never won this event.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2018 Fort Worth Inviational is $7.1 million. That's up 2.9% over the $6.9 million in prize money that was up for grabs in this PGA golf tournament last year.

  • Winner - $1.278 million

The winner of the 2018 Fort Worth Invitational will earn a cool $1.278 million. That's up 2.9% over the $1.242 million in prize money that Kevin Kisner earned when he won this tournament last year.


  • Second place - $766,800
