PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2018 Valero Texas Open

The 2018 Valero Texas Open golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from April 19-22, 2017, on the Oaks Course at the TPC San Antonio golf resort located in the Cibolo Canyon area just north of San Antonio, Texas. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the PGA golfers at the 2018 Valero Texas Open.

The Valero Texas Open dates back to 1922, making it one of the oldest tournaments on the PGA Tour. Arnold Palmer (1960-62) and Justin Leonard (2000, 2001, 2007) jointly hold the record for most wins with three each. Besides Arnold Palmer other golf greats to win this tournament are Byron Nelson (1940), Ben Hogan (1946), Sam Snead (1948, 1950) and Lee Trevino (1980).

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2018 Valero Texas Open is $6.2 million. That's the same amount of prize money that was up for grabs in this PGA golf tournament last year.
