European Tour PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2018 Open de Espana

The 2018 Open de Espana golf tournament on the European Tour is taking place this week from April 12-15, 2018, at the Centro Nacional de Golf located in Madrid, Spain. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs this week at the Open de Espana.



The Open de Espana dates back to 1912 and it has been a European Tour event since the tour was started in 1972. This event was not played in 2017. Andrew "Beef" Johnston won the event in 2016 and is technically the defending champion.

Arnold Palmer won this event in 1975 for one of his two European Tour wins outside of the golf majors. Fresh off his 4th place finish at the Masters, Jon Rahm is playing here this week in his native Spain.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2018 Open de Espana is $1.85 million. All prize money has been converted from Euros to American dollars.
