PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2018 Valspar Championship

The 2018 Valspar Championship golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from March 8-11, 2018, on the Copperhead Course at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club located in the Tampa suburb of Palm Harbor, Florida. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the PGA golfers playing in the 2018 Valspar Championship.



The Valspar Championship dates back to 2000. Notable winner of this PGA Tour event include Jordan Spieth (2015), Jim Furyk (2010), Vijay Singh (2004) and K.J. Choi (2002, 2006) and Retief Goosen (2003, 2009), who jointly hold the record for most wins with two each. Tiger Woods has never won this event but he will be playing this week and trying for his first win in 2018.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2018 Valspar Championship is $6.5 million. That's up 3.2% over the $6.3 million that was up for grabs in this tournament last year.

  • Winner - $1.170 million

The winner of the 2018 Valspar Championship will earn a cool $1.170 million in prize money. That's up 3.2% over the $1.1134 million in prize money that Adam Hadwin earned last year when he won this tournament.

  • Second place - $702,000


  • Third place - $442,000


  • Fourth place - $312,000


  • Fifth place - $260,000


  • Sixth Place - $234,000


  • Seventh Place - $217,750


  • Eighth Place - $201,500
