PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs 2018 Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship

The 2018 Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from March 22-25, 2018, at the Corales Golf Club located in the Dominican Republic. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs this week for the PGA golfers at the 2018 Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship.

The Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship is an alternate event on the PGA Tour for the WGC-Match Play event and it is a brand new PGA event (it was a Web.com event). All PGA Tour players not eligible for the WGC-Match Play can play here including Tiger Woods but it's doubtful Tiger will play this event.

Players earn reduced FedEx Cup points and prize money this week and the winner of the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship does not get a Masters invitation but the winner does get a full two-year PGA Tour exemption just like the winner of a regular PGA event.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2018 Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship is $3 million. It would be interesting if Tiger Woods played here to see if this event got more publicity than the WGC-Match Play.

  • Winner - $540,000

The winner of the 2018 Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship will earn $540,000. That's well below what a typical PGA Tour event pays but the two-year tour exemption is the real prize for this event.

  • Second place - $324,000

  • Third place - $204,000

  • Fourth place - $144,000
