PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open

The 2018 Waste Management Phoenix Open golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from February 1-4, 2017, on the Stadium Course at the TPC Scottsdale golf course located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the PGA golfers to win at the 2018Phoenix Open.




The Phoenix Open dates back to 1932. Phil Mickelson (1996, 2005, 2013) and Arnold Palmer (1961-63) are two of four players who have won this tournament the most times with three wins each. Tiger Woods has never won this event and he's not playing this week.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2018 Phoenix Open is $6.9 million. That's up 3% over the $6.7 million that was up for grabs in this tournament last year.

  • Winner - $1.206 million

The winner of the 2018 Phoenix Open will earn a cool $1.242 million in prize money. That's up 3% over the $1.206 million in prize money that Hideki Matsuyama earned last year when he won this tournament for the second year in a row.

  • Second place - $745,200

  • Third place - $469,200

  • Fourth place - $331,200
