Tallest Professional Women Tennis Players of All-Time

The following is a list of the tallest professional women tennis players that I am aware of and know about. If anybody knows of a taller professional woman tennis player please leave a comment.

The average height of a woman in the United States today is 5' 4". As you can see below all the pro women tennis players on this list are much taller than that. Does height help a tennis player? The answer is yes because the taller one is the easier it is to serve a ball over the net and serving is a critical element in playing tennis.

  1. New Zealand's Erin Routliffe is 6' 2". While nowhere near as well-known as any of the above list, she's starting to make her way up through the rankings as a doubles player, having won six ITF tournaments already this year and reaching 145 in the WTA rankings.
