2. Serena Williams (2015) - $10.6 million

Serena Williams also won the second most amount of money for a woman tennis player in one year when she won $10.6 million in 2015. Serena won five singles titles in 2015 including winning three Grand Slam titles at the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon. 


3. Angelique Kerber (2016) - $10.14 million

In 2016, Angelique Kerber from Germany won the third most money of any women tennis player in one year when she won $10.14 million.  Angelique Kerber won eight singles titles in 2016, including the Australian Open and the U.S. Open Grand Slam titles.
