Most Money Won by One Senior PGA Golfer in One Year

What is the most money ever won by one senior PGA golfer in one year? A senior PGA golfer has to be over 50 years of age to play on the PGA Tour Champions. So basically what's the most money ever won by a PGA golfer after the age of 50?

This is a very relevant question in 2017 because Bernhard Langer is going to set the record for most money won be a senior golfer this year. Langer already has such a huge lead in the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs that he will win the top prize for the playoffs and he has already set the mark for most money won by one golfer during the regular senior season.

There is only the Charles Schwab Cup Championship tournament left to be played on the senior tour this season. So the answer to the question what's the most money won by one senior PGA golfer in one season is a fluid answer until we find out how much money Bernhard Langer wins in the final event of the season.

The rest of the money he's already won and will win from the playoffs bonus pool money is known and is shown below. I will update his total record earnings for this year after the final event of the 2017 PGA Tour Champions season.

All years in which a senior player won at least $4 million are shown below. The money shown is for official and unofficial winnings from tournaments and the year-end bonus pool money from the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs.
