PGA Senior Golf 2017 Charles Schwab Cup Playoff Prize Money Up for Grabs

The 2017 Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs on the PGA Tour Champions are set to get under way on Friday, October 20, 2017. Here is a list of the bonus prize money that is up for grabs for the senior PGA players to earn in the 2017 Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs.

The playoffs consist of three separate tournaments starting on October 20, 2017. The tournaments are the Dominion Energy Charity Classic (October 20-22), PowerShares QQQ Championship (October 27-29) and the season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship (November 10-12).

Only the top 75 players for the 2017 PGA Tour Champions season are eligible to play in the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs. Only the top 54 players can play in the second round and then only the top 36 players advance to the season ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship.

Since the playoffs began in 2001, Bernhard Langer holds the record for most Charles Schwab Cup titles with four, including winning each of the last three years. Colin Montgomerie has yet to win the Charles Schwab Cup but has finished in 2nd place each of the last three years.
