PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2017 CIMB Classic

The 2017 CIMB Classic golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from October 12-15, 2017, at the TPC Kuala Lumpur  located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs this week for the PGA golfers at the 2017 CIMC Classic.

The CIMB Classic is the second tournament of the 2018 PGA Tour season even though it is being played in 2017. Since 2013, the PGA Tour season begins in October of one year and finishes in September of the following year.

The CIMB Classic dates back to 2010. Ryan Moore and 2017 PGA Player of the Year Justin Thomas jointly hold the record for most wins with two each. Justin Thomas has won this PGA Tour event the last two years and he is playing this week trying to make it three in a row.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2017 CIMB Classic is $7 million. That's the same amount of prize money that was up for gabs in this PGA tournament last year.
