Most Money Won by One Woman Golfer in One Year

What is the most money won by one woman golfer in one year? If you have ever wondered what the answer is to that question here is you answer. This article tells you the most money ever won by one woman golfer in one year.

A couple of notes first. The money listed here is for winnings only and does not include any endorsement money or appearance fees the women players might also have earned. The money included is all prize money from playing in tournaments plus bonus prize money for winning the CME Race to the Globe playoffs, which are similar to the FedEx Cup Playoffs for PGA players.

The winner of the CME Race to the Globe playoffs wins a $1 million bonus prize money payout. Obviously, any woman golfer who wins the $1 million payout is a threat to win more money than the first player on this list of woman golfers who have won the most money in one year.

Prior to the CME Race to the Globe, which started in 2014, the LPGA had a season-ending tournament that ran from 2006 to 2008. The prize for winning that season ending tournament was also $1 million and the woman who won the most money playing golf in one year won that event in the year she set the record.
