How Much is Steph Curry Making a Year?

Without a doubt, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors will be the highest paid player in the NBA in 2018. How much money will Steph Curry make a year for the next five years?

It's a little hard to know exactly how much money Steph Curry will earn in total for the next five years. What we do know for sure is how much money Steph Curry will earn in salary for the next five years which you can see right below.

  • 2018 - $34.7 million

  • 2019 - $37.5 million

  • 2020 - $40.2 million

  • 2021 - $43 million

  • 2022 - $45.8 million

Steph Curry signed a huge 5-year $201 million contract in 2017 and his salary for the contract has been released. What's a little more iffy about Steph Curry's earnings are how much more money he will make from endorsement deals and his royalties. Steph Curry signed a deal with UnderArmour that pays his him royalties based upon sales of products like his signature shoe as well as regular endorsement money.

Steph Curry also has endorsement deals with companies like Nissan (Infinity division), JP Morgan Chase, Brita, Vivo and PressPlay. It's estimated that Steph Curry will earn $35 million a year from his endorsement and royalty deals this year and that will rise to $40 million by next year. So we can come up with a pretty good idea of how much money he will make over the next five years in total.

How Much is Steph Curry Making a Year?

  • 2018 - $70 million

  • 2019 - $77.5 million

  • 2020 - $80.2 million

  • 2021 - $82 million

  • 2022 - $85.8 million

Because he has a royalty deal with UnderArmour, Steph Curry could make a lot more money than is listed above but he could also make less depending upon mainly the sales of his signature shoe. There's no guarantee his shoe sales will keep going up and it's likely they will eventually flat-line and fall probably quicker than most people would think. But the estimates above are a pretty good idea of just how much money Steph Curry will be making a year for the next five years.

If Steph Curry invests his money wisely he is almost certain to become a billionaire.
