European PGA Tour Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2017 British Masters

The 2017 British Masters golf tournament on the European Tour, which is owned by the PGA, is taking place this week from September 28 to October 1, 2017, at the Close House Golf Course located in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the European Tour golfers this week at the 2017 British Masters.



The British Masters dates back to 1946 and it became a European Tour event in 1972. This event was not played from 2009-14, but since its comeback the two winners are Matthew Fitzpatrick in 2015 and Alexander Noren in 2016.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2017 British Masters is $4.03 million. All prize for the 2017 British Masters has been converted from Pounds to American dollars at the current exchange rate of 1.34.

The winner of the 2017 British Masters will earn $671,801. The winner of this European PGA Tour event last year was Alex Noren from Sweden.
