PGA Web.com Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs 2017 Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship

The 2017 Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship golf tournament on the Web.com development tour for the PGA Tour is taking place this week from August 31 to September 3, 2017, on the Scarlet Course at the OSU Golf Club located in Columbus, Ohio. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the Web.com players at the 2017 Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship.

The Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship on the Web.com Tour dates back to 2007. Justin Thomas, who just won the 2017 PGA Championship for his first career major at age 24, won this event in 2014.

This is the 1st of the four Web.com Tour Finals tournaments. Playing in the Web.com Tour Finals has replaced the qualifying school as the main way for golfers to earn their PGA Tour cards. The top 25 money earners over the four Web.com Tour Finals tournaments earn their tour cards for next season.

This is the 23rd Web.com event of 2017. Kyle Thompson, Andrew Landry, Ethan Tracy, Andrew Putnam, Casey Wittenberg, D.H. Lee, Matt Atkins, Nate Lashley, Stephan Jager (2 wins), Conrad Shindler, Aaron Wise, Adam Schenk, Lanto Griffin, Chesson Hadley, Brice Garnett (2 wins), Sam Ryder, Dou Zecheng, Martin Piller, Ben Silverman and Talor Gooch won the first 22 events of the year.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2017 Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship is $1 million.  Any player who wins three times on the Web.com Tour automatically earns their PGA Tour card.
