WTA Women's Tennis Prize Money Up for Grabs at 2017 Stanford Classic

The 2017 Stanford Classic tennis tournament for women players on the WTA circuit is taking place this week from July 31 to August 6, 2017, on the hard courts at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium located at Stanford University in Stanford, California. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the women tennis players at the 2017 Stanford Classic.



The Stanford Classic is a WTA Premier tournament meaning it has a total prize fund from $600,000 to $1 million. Actual prize money is $753,000. Premier 5 events have prize funds of $2 million and Premier Mandatory events have prize funds of $4.5 million in 2017.

All prize money below is in American dollars. The prize money is not cumulative, players only earn the amounts shown for the last round they advance to.

Garbine Muguruza, Petra Kvitova and Madison Keys are the highest ranked women players in the 2017 Stanford Classic. Maria Sharapova is also playing as she makes a comeback from her drug suspension.
