WTA Women's Tennis Prize Money Up for Grabs at 2017 Citi Open

The 2017 Citi Open tennis tournament for women players on the WTA circuit is taking place this week from July 31 to August 6, 2017, on the hard courts at the Rock Creek Tennis Center located in Washington D.C. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the women tennis players at the 2017 Citi Open.



The 2017 Citi Open is a International event on the WTA circuit which means it has a prize money fund of at least $250,000. Actual prize money at the 2017 Citi Open is $250,000.  

All prize money below is in American dollars. The prize money is not cumulative, players only earn the amounts shown for the last round they advance to. 

The highest ranked women playing in the 2017 Citi Open are Simona Halep, Kristina Mladenovic, Lauren Davis and Julia Goerges (in photo above).

  • Runner-up - $21,400


  • Semifinalists - $11,500


  • Quarter-finalists - $6,175
