PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at 2017 Ellie Mae Classic

The 2017 Ellie Mae Classic golf tournament on the development tour for the PGA Tour is taking place this week from August 3-6, 2017, at the TPC Stonebrae golf course located in Hayward, California. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the players at the 2017 Ellie Mae Classic. 

The Ellie Mae Classic on the Tour dates back to 2009. Current PGA Tour players Kevin Chappell (2010), Tony Finau (2014) and Si Woo Kim (2015) have all won this event. Si Woo Kim just won the 2017 Players Championship in May at the age of 21.

This is the 19th event of 2017. Kyle Thompson, Andrew Landry, Ethan Tracy, Andrew Putnam, Casey Wittenberg, D.H. Lee, Matt Atkins, Nate Lashley, Stephan Jager (2 wins), Conrad Shindler, Aaron Wise, Adam Schenk, Lanto Griffin, Chesson Hadley, Brice Garnett and Sam Ryder won the first 17 events of the year with the 18th winner not decided at press time.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2017 Ellie Mae Classic is $600,000.  Any player who wins three times on the Tour automatically earns their PGA Tour card. 

PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2017 Ellie Mae Classic

  • Winner - $108,000

The winner of the 2017 Ellie Mae Classic will earn $108,000. The same amount of prize money earned by Rob Oppenheim when he won this tournament last year.

  • Second place - $64,800

  • Third place - $40,800

  • Fourth place - $28,800

  • Fifth place - $24,000
