PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2017 John Deere Classic

The 2017 John Deere Classic golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from July 13-16, 2017, at the TPC Deere Run golf course located in Silvis, Illinois. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs this week for the PGA golfers at the 2017 John Deere Classic.



The John Deere Classic dates back to 1972. Steve Stricker and D.A Weibring jointly hold the record for most wins with two each. Jordan Spieth is among four players who have won this event twice each.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2017 John Deere Classic Classic is $5.6 million. That's up 16.7% over the $4.8 million of prize money that was up for grabs in this PGA golf tournament last year. This is easily one of the lowest prize money events on the PGA Tour in 2017.

The winner of the 2017 John Deere Classic Classic will earn $1.008 million. That's up 16.7% over the $864,000 of prize money that Ryan Moore earned when he won this tournament last year.

  • Fifth place - $224,000


  • Sixth Place - $201,600


  • Seventh Place - $187,600
