PGA Golf Playing Field for the 2017 John Deere Classic

The 2017 John Deere Classic golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from July 13-16, 2017, at the TPC Deere Run golf course located in Silvis, Illinois. Here is a list of the top PGA golfers in the playing field at the 2017 John Deere Classic.

The John Deere Classic dates back to 1972. Steve Stricker and D.A Weibring jointly hold the record for most wins with two each. Jordan Spieth is among four players who have won this event twice each.

The John Deere Classic offers one of the lowest prize money payouts on the PGA Tour. Hence, the playing field is not strong for the event. The only two name golfers in the field are Bubba Watson and Zach Johnson.

Previous winners of the John Deere Classic not listed above in the playing field this week include Jonathan Byrd (2007).

Beyond Bubba Watson this is not a tough playing field this week so a young player could record his first PGA Tour win this week in the John Deere Classic. That includes players like Bryson DeChambeau, Whee Kim, Trey Mullinax, Grayson Murray, Patrick Rodgers, Xander Schauffele, Bobby Wyatt and Ollie Schniederjans.\
