PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2017 Greenbrier Classic

The 2017 Greenbrier Classic golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from July 6-9, 2017, on the Old White TPC golf course located in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs this week for the PGA golfers at the 2017 Greenbrier Classic.



The Greenbrier Classic dates back to 2010. Stuart Appleby was the inaugural winner followed by Scott Stallings in 2011, Ted Potter, Jr. in 2012, Jonas Blixt in 2013, Angel Cabrera in 2014 and Danny Lee in 2015. The Greenbrier Classic was canceled last year due to flooding.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2017 Greenbrier Classic is $7.1 million. That's up 6% over the $6.7 million in prize money that was up for grabs in this PGA golf tournament last year.

  • Winner - $1.278 million

The winner of the 2017 Greenbrier Classic will earn $1.278 million. That's up 6% over the $1.206 million in prize money that Danny Lee earned when he won this tournament in 2015.

  • Fourth place - $340,800


  • Fifth place - $284,000


  • Sixth Place - $255,600


  • Seventh Place - $237,850
