PGA Golf Playing Field for the 2017 RBC Heritage

The 2017 RBC Heritage golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from April 13-16, 2017, on the Harbor Town Course at the Harbour Town Golf Links located in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Here is a list of the playing field of top PGA golfers for the 2017 RBC Heritage.



Top ranked golfers in the 2017 RBC Heritage are Tyrrell Hatton, Danny Willett, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Branden Grace (defending champion), Matt Kuchar (2014 winner here), Brandt Snedeker (2011 winner), Russell Knox, Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Marc Leishman, Francesco Molinari, Kevin Kisner, Bill Haas, Yuta Ikeda, Martin Kaymer, Adam Hadwin, Hideto Tanihara, William McGirt and Charley Hoffman. All those players are ranked in the top 50 in the world.

Golf major winners in the playing field not already included above are Keegan Bradley, Stewart Cink (two-time winner of this event), Jason Dufner, Ernie Els, Jim Furyk (two-time winner of this event), Lucas Glover, Davis Love III (5-time winner of this event), Graeme McDowell (2013 winner), Geoff Ogilvy, Webb Simpson and Vijay Singh. 

Past winners of the RBC Heritage in the playing field for 2017 not included above are Carl Pettersson (2012), Brian Gay (2009), Boo Weekley (2007, 2008) and Aaron Baddeley (2006). Prolific winners, name golfers and young players to watch for this week include K.J. Choi, Luke Donald, Bryson DeChambeau, Billy Horschel, Ian Poulter and Ollie Schneiderjans.

Coming one week after the Masters, the RBC Heritage is in a tough spot to attract the very top ranked players in golf. Despite that 18 of the top 50 players in the world are in the playing field this week joined by 11 golf major winners and a decent number of name golfers and promising young players.
