Women's Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs 2018 Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic

The 2017 Volunteers of America Texas Shootout golf tournament for women players on the LPGA Tour is taking place this week from April 20-23, 2017, at the Los Colinas Country Club located in Irving, Texas. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the women LPGA golfers at the 2017 Volunteers of America Texas Shootout.

The Volunteers of America Texas Shootout dates back to 2013. Inbee Park won this event in both 2013 and 2015. The other two winners are Stacy Park (2014) and last year's winner Jenny Shin

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2017 Volunteers of America Texas Shootout is $1.3 million. The same amount of prize money as last year and every year since this event started in 2013. The Volunteers of America Texas Shootout is different from most LPGA Tournaments because only 50 women plus ties make the cut vs the usual 70.

As with most LPGA Tournaments the first place prize money in the 2017 Volunteers of America Texas Shootout is set in stone at 15% of the total prize money. The rest of the prize money below the top spot can vary a little bit from what is shown based upon how many women make the cut. The more women who make the cut due to ties beyond 50 the less money each spot below the top spot will pay. The money below is based upon just 50 women making the cut.
