LPGA Women's Golf Playing Field for the 2017 Bank of Hope Founders Cup

The 2017 Bank of Hope Founders Cup golf tournament for women players on the LPGA Tour is taking place this week from March 16-19, 2017, at the Wildfire Golf Club at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort and Spa located in Phoenix, Arizona. Here is a list of the top LPGA women golfers in the playing field for the 2017 Bank of Hope Founders Cup.



The two highest ranked women golfers in the world, Lydia Ko at #1 and Ariya Jutanugarn at #2, are both in the playing field for the 2017 Bank of Hope Founders Cup. Joining them are other top 10 ranked women golfers, In Gee Chun, Ha Na Jang, Lexi Thompson, So Yeon Ryu, Amy Yang, Inbee Park and Sei Young Kim. That is nine of the top 10 women golfers in the world in the playing field this week.

Women golfers in the top 25 include Sung Hyan Park, Brooke Henderson, Stacy Lewis, Anna Nordqvist, Minjee Lee, Gerina Piller, Suzann Pettersen, Haru Numora, Brittany Lang, Mirim Lee and Jessica Korda. So 20 of the top 25 women golfers in the world are in the playing field this week.

Fan favorites and well known women golfers also in the playing field for the 2017 Bank of Hope Founders Cup include Natalie Gulbis, Cristie Kerr, Mo Martin, Paula Creamer, Michelle Wie, Morgan Pressel, Caroline Masson, Belen Mozo, Sandra Gal, Beatriz Recari, Jodi Ewart Shadoff from England and Cheyenne Woods the niece of Tiger Woods.

All in all this is a top-notch golf playing field filled with many name women golfers which should make for a great tournament in the 2017 LPGA season. Really, any tournament that has women golf stars like Michelle Wie, Lydia Ko, Brooke Henderson, Lexi Thompson, Paula Creamer, Natalie Gulbis, Cristie Kerr, Suzann Pettersen and Gerina Piller is well worth watching on the Golf Channel this week.
