The 2017 HSBC Women's Champions has attracted an absolute top-notch field this week as the tournament has a limited field of roughly 60 and there is no cut so all participating players earn a paycheck this week. The two highest ranked women golfers in the world, Lydia Ko at #1 and Ariya Jutanugarn at #2, are both in the playing field for the 2017 HSBC Women's Champions.

Joining them are all the other top 10 ranked women golfers, Shanshen Feng, In Gee Chun, Ha Na Jang, Lexi Thompson, So Yeon Ryu, Sei Young Kim, Brooke Henderson and Sung Hyun Park. Out of the top 20 women golfers in the world only Bo-Mee Lee is not in the playing field this week.

Women golfers in the top 25 include Inbee Park, Amy Yang, Stacy Lewis, Anna Nordqvist, Charley Hull from England, Minjee Lee, Gerina Piller, Suzann Pettersen, Brittany Lincicome, Carlota Ciganda, Haru Numora, Brittany Lang, Mirim Lee and Hyo Joo Kim.

Fan favorites and well known women golfers also in the playing field for the 2017 HSBC Women's Champions include Cristie Kerr, Mo Martin, Paula Creamer, Michelle Wie, Jessica Korda, Morgan Pressel, Caroline Masson, Beatriz Recari, Jodi Ewart Shadoff from England and Sarah Jane Smith.

All in all this is an absolute top-notch golf playing field filled with many name women golfers which should make for a great tournament in the 2017 LPGA season. Really, any tournament that has women golf stars like Michelle Wie, Lydia Ko, Brooke Henderson, Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson, Paula Creamer, Cristie Kerr, Suzann Pettersen and Gerina Piller is well worth watching on the Golf Channel.
