LPGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at 2017 Women's Australian Open

The 2017 Women's Australian Open golf tournament for women players on the LPGA Tour is taking place this week from February 16-19, 2017, at the Royal Adelaide Golf Club located in Grange, South Australia. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the LPGA golfers at the 2017 Women's Australian Open.

The 2017 Women's Australian Open is the second tournament of the year for the women players on the LPGA Tour. It is a 72 hole stoke play tournament with a 36 hole cut line to 70 players plus ties.

The Women's Australian Open became a LPGA event in 2012. American Jessica Korda was the inaugural winner followed by Jiyai Shinin 2013, Karrie Webb in 2014, Lydia Ko in 2015 and Haru Nomura in 2016.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2017 Women's Australian Open is $1.3 million. The same amount of prize money that was up for grabs in this tournament last year.

As with most LPGA Tournaments the first place prize money in the 2017 Women's Australian Open is set in stone at 15% of the total prize money. The rest of the prize money below the top spot can vary a little bit from what is shown based upon how many women make the cut. The more women who make the cut due to ties beyond 70 the less money each spot below the top spot will pay.
