LPGA Golf Playing Field for the 2017 Women's Australian Open

The 2017 Women's Australian Open golf tournament for women players on the LPGA Tour is taking place this week from February16-19, 2017, at the Royal Adelaide Golf Club located in Grange, South Australia. Here is a list of the LPGA women golfers in the playing field for the 2017 Women's Australian Open.



The two highest ranked women golfers in the world, Lydia Ko at #1 and Ariya Jutanugarn at #2, are both in the playing field for the 2017 Women's Australian Open. Lydia Ko did not play in the first LPGA tournament of the year in the Bahamas.

Other top ranked women golfers who are in the playing field for the 2017 Women's Australian Open include Ha Na Jang, Brooke Henderson, Charley Hull from England, Minjee Lee, Carlota Ciganda and Haru Numora, Mo Martin, Jenny Shin, Karine Icher, Mi Hyang Lee, Pornanong Phatlum and Azahara Munoz. All those women golfers are ranked in the top 50 in the world.

Fan favorites and well known women golfers also in the playing field for the 2017 Women's Australian Open include Belen Mozo, Sandra Gal, Joanna Klatten, Caroline Masson, Beatriz Recari, Melissa Reid from England, Angela Stanford, Yani Tseng, Michelle Wie and Cheyenne Woods the niece of Tiger Woods.

All in all this is a top-notch golf playing field filled with many name women golfers which should make for a great second tournament of the 2017 LPGA season. Really, any tournament that has women golf stars like Lydia Ko, Brooke Henderson, Charley Hull, Michelle Wie, Belen Mozo, Sandra Gal and Cheyenne Woods is well worth watching on the Golf Channel.
