Tennis Prize Money Up for Grabs for Women Players at 2017 Taiwan Open

The 2017 Taiwan Open tennis tournament for women players on the WTA circuit is taking place this week from January 30 to February 5, 2017, on the outdoor hard courts at the Taipei Arena. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the women tennis players at the 2017 Taiwan Open.

The Taiwan Open is a WTA International tournament meaning it has a total prize fund between $250,000 and $500,000. WTA Premier tournaments have a prize fun from $600,000 to $1 million while Premier 5 events have prize funds of $2 million and Premier Mandatory events have prize funds of $4.5 million in 2017.

All prize money below is in American dollars. The prize money is not cumulative, players only earn the amounts shown for the last round they advance to. Elina Svitolina is the top ranked woman in the field.

  • Semifinalists - $11,500
