Tennis Prize Money Up for Grabs for Women Players at 2017 Brisbane International

The 2017 Brisbane International tennis tournament on the WTA Tour for women players is taking place this week from January 1-8, 2017, on the outdoor hard courts at the Queensland Tennis Centre located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the women tennis players at the Brisbane International this week.

The 2017 Brisbane International is a major prep tournament on the WTA Tour for women tennis players to get them ready to play in the first major of the year the Australian Open Grand slam tennis tournament which starts on January 16, 2017. So even though the prize money is not great at the 2017 Brisbane International the field is top-notch including the #1 player in the world Angelique Kerber from Germany.

Angelique Kerber is the defending Australian Open champion. Serena Williams will be trying to take the Australian Open title back from Angelique Kerber this year but Serena Williams is prepping this week for the first grand slam tournament of the year at the 2017 Auckland Open in New Zealand.

All prize money below is in American dollars. The prize money is not cumulative, players only earn the amounts shown for the last round they advance to.
