PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2017 Phoenix Open

The 2017 Phoenix Open golf tournament on the PGA Tour is taking place this week from February 2-5, 2017, on the Stadium Course at the TPC Scottsdale golf course located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the PGA golfers to win at the 2017 Phoenix Open.



The Phoenix Open dates back to 1932. Phil Mickelson (1996, 2005, 2013) and Arnold Palmer (1961-63) are two of four players who have won this tournament the most times with three wins each. Tiger Woods has never won the Phoenix Open and he's playing in Dubai this week.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2017 Phoenix Open is $6.7 million. That's up 3.1% over the $6.5 million that was up for grabs in this tournament last year.

The winner of the 2017 Phoenix Open will earn a cool $1.206 million in prize money. That's up 3.1% over the $1.170 million in prize money that Hideki Matsuyama earned last year when he won this tournament.

  • Second place - $723,600

Second place is worth $723,600 at the 2017 Phoenix Open. That's up 3.1% over the $702,000 in prize money that Rickie Fowler earned when he finished alone in 2nd place here last year.

  • Third place - $455,600

Third place at the 2017 Phoenix Open is worth $455,600. Up 3.1% over the $442,000 in prize money that Harris English earned when he finished alone in 3rd place here last year.

  • Fourth place - $321,600

Fourth place is worth $321,600 at the 2017 Phoenix Open. Up 3.1% over the $312,000 that Danny Lee earned here last year when he finished alone in 4th place.
