European Tour Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at 2017 Qatar Masters

The 2017 Qatar Masters golf tournament on the European Tour is taking place this week from January 26-29, 2017, at the Doha Golf Club located in Doha, Qatar. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the European Tour players at the 2017 Qatar Masters.



The Qatar Masters golf tournament dates back to 1998. Adam Scott (2002, 2008), Paul Lawrie (1999, 2012) and last year's winner Branden Grace (2015, 2016) jointly hold the record for most wins with two each.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2017 Qatar Masters is $2.5 million. The same amount of prize money as last year. The prize money below has been converted from Euros to dollars at the current exchange rate of 1.07.

European Tour Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at 2017 Qatar Masters

  • Winner - $418,176

The winner of the 2017 Qatar Masters will earn $418,176. As mentioned above the winner of this tournament last year was Branden Grace from the South Africa.

  • Second place - $278,780

Second place is worth $278,789 at the 2017 Qatar Masters. Rafa Cabrera-Bello from Spain and Thorbjorn Olesen from Denmark tied for 2nd place here the last year.

  • Third place - $157,069

Third place at the 2017 Qatar Masters golf tournament on the European Tour is worth $157,069. 

  • Fourth place - $125,455

Fourth place is worth $125,455 at the 2017 Qatar Masters. Andrew "Beef" Johnston from England and Bradley Dredge from Wales tied for 4th place here last year.

  • Fifth place - $106,385

Fifth place is worth $106,385 at the 2017 Qatar Masters.
