PGA Senior Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at the 2016 Toshiba Classic

The 2016 Toshiba Classic senior golf tournament on the PGA Champions Tour is taking place this week from October 7-9, 2016, at the Newport Beach Country Club located in Newport Beach, California. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the senior PGA golfers to win this week at the 2016 Toshiba Classic.

The Toshiba Classic dates back to 1995. Hale Irwin (1998, 2002) and Fred Couples (2010, 2014) jointly hold the record for most wins with two each. 

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2016 Toshiba Classic is $2 million. That is the same amount of prize money that was up for grabs at this senior tournament last year.

  • Winner - $270,000

The winner of the 2016 Toshiba Classic will earn $270,000. That is the same amount of prize money that Duffy Waldorf earned when he won this event last year.

  • Second place - $158,400

Second place is worth $158,400 at the 2016 Toshiba Classic. Tat is the same amount of prize money earned by Joe Durant when he finished alone in second place in this tournament last year.

  • Third place - $129,600

Third place at the 2016 Toshiba Classic is worth $129,600. That is the same amount of prize money earned by Kevin Sutherland when he finished alone in 3rd place here last year.

  • Fourth place - $107,100
