Web.com PGA Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs at 2016 Albertsons Boise Open

The 2016 Albertsons Boise Open golf tournament on the Web.com development tour for the PGA Tour is taking place this week from September 15-18, 2016, at the Hillcrest Country Club located in Boise, Idaho. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the Web.com players at the 2016 Albertsons Boise Open.



The Albertsons Boise Open golf tournament on the Web.com Tour is the second of four Web.com Tour Finals tournaments that offer players ways to earn their PGA Tour cards for next season. Players who finished the regular season in the top 25 on the money list get their PGA Tour cards and the 25 players who accumulate the most money over the four Web.com Tour Finals tournaments including the Boise Open also get their tour cards for 2017.

To play in the Web.com Tour Finals tournaments including the Albertsons Boise Open players had to be in the top 75 on the Web.com Tour money list at the end of the regular season. Also eligible to play are PGA Tour players who finished 126 to 200 on the FedEx Cup points list this season and non-members who had enough FedEx Cup points to be in the top 200.

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2016 Albertsons Boise Open is $1 million. Up 20% from $800,000 last year. Any player who wins three times on the Web.com Tour automatically earns their PGA Tour card.

  • Winner - $180,000

The winner of the 2016 Albertsons Boise Open will earn $180,000. That is up 25% over the $144,000 in prize money Martin Piller earned when he won this tournament last year.

  • Second place - $108,000

Second place is worth $108,000 at the 2016 Albertsons Boise Open. That is up 25% over the $86,400 in prize money earned by Jorge Fernandez-Valdez when he finished alone in second place here last year. 

  • Third place - $68,000

Third place at the 2016 Albertsons Boise Open golf tournament on the Web.com Tour is worth $68,000. 

  • Fourth place - $48,000
