Golf Prize Money Up for Grabs for Women Players at the 2016 Reignwood LPGA Classic

The 2016 Reignwood LPGA Classic golf tournament for women players on the LPGA Tour is taking place this week from September 29 to October 2, 2016, at the Pine Valley Golf Club located in Nankou, Beijing, China. Here is a list of the prize money up for grabs for the women golfers at the 2016 Reignwood LPGA Classic.



The Reignwood LPGA Classic dates back to 2013. Shanshan Feng was the inaugural winner in 2013 and Mirim Lee won the tournament in 2014. The Reignwood LPGA Classic was not played in 2015. Of note, Jack Nicklaus designed the Pine Valley Golf course in Beijing. 

Total prize money up for grabs at the 2016 Reignwood LPGA Classic is $2.1 million. That is the same amount of prize money that was up for grabs in this tournament in 2014 the last time it was played. 

There is no cut this week as only 80 women players will tee it up this week in the 2016 Reignwood LPGA Classic in Beijing, China.

  • Winner - $315,000

The winner of the 2016 Reignwood LPGA Classic Classic will earn or win a paycheck of $315,000. That is the same amount of prize money Mirim Lee earned when she won this women's golf tournament the last time it was played in 2014.

  • Second place - $192,103

Second place is worth about $192,103 at the 2016 Reignwood LPGA Classic. That is what Caroline Hedwall earned when she finished alone in second place in this tournament in 2014.

  • Third place - $139,000

Third place at the 2016 Reignwood LPGA Classic is worth about $139,000. 

  • Fourth place - $108,000

Fourth place is worth $108,000 at the 2016 Reignwood LPGA Classic golf tournament on the LPGA Tour.. 

  • Fifth place - $87,000
